The Office 365 suite of office programs from the well-known Microsoft company will now cost more for subscribers. The first price increase in 12 years is due to the fact that the company will rely on the introduction of new tools created with the help of artificial intelligence (AI).

How the cost of Office 365 from Microsoft has changed
According to journalists, users will now pay $130 per year for a family subscription (for six people). Instead, individual users will pay $100 for an annual subscription.
It is known that new users will purchase a subscription at the updated prices, and all other rates will change when existing subscribers decide to renew their subscriptions.
The publication notes that the software package, formerly called Office 365 and now Microsoft 365, has increased in price for the first time in 12 years.
"The changes provide access to AI in productive tools used by millions of people every day," said Microsoft Vice President Brian Ronier.
He also noted that Office will have new services, such as an antivirus. Users will also be able to edit media. In addition, Ronier promises that the quality of the program will improve in the future.
